Reaquainting with my old upcycled piano

One of the best things about having a sort out is rediscovering possessions that you realise you have been taking for granted. Ten years ago I went to look at an old piano that was advertised for free in my local supermarket. When I set eyes on it I didn't care how honkey tonk the ivories sounded, I knew it belonged in my home. When it eventually gave up on me I salvaged what I could and today the beautifully engraved black wood was polished and re-dressed with other treasures of mine.
